Volunteer Co-ordination Manager (Maternity cover)
WWT Slimbridge, Gloucestershire
37.5 hrs per week, 12 month fixed-term contract
£20, 453 - £21,529pa
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK. Our missionis to promote, protect and develop wetlands and their wildlife.
Volunteers play a vital role in every area of the work of Slimbridge Centre and we now wish to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a 'can-do' attitude to co-ordinate our volunteer service. You will recruit and train new volunteers, source funding opportunities, and promote and manage corporate volunteering activities. The ability to manage budgets and ensure WWT's continued compliance with current legislation is a key element of this role.
You will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent with excellent organisational and communications skills, plus strong management and presentation abilities.
Appointment to this position is subject to the successful candidate receiving full clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau.
