80,000 copies of the Cotswold Visitor Guide are produced annually, now in partnership with Cotswold District Council and Stroud District Council under the new Destination Management Organisation. Distribution includes the UK and overseas in response to targeted marketing. Promotional opportunities are available in our two main fesitval programmes - Food Festival (May Bank Holiday Weekend) and Awaken your Senses (Spring Bank Holiday Weekend). A monthly events listing is updated on www.visitcotswoldsandsevernvale.gov.uk. Entry is free of charge, and is designed to promote all events from coffee mornings, fetes and markets to music festivals, outdoor theatre and open gardens. The events listing also goes out in booklet form to our parish noticeboards, our two TIC's and various attractions in the area.Tastes of the Cotswolds
As part of our Destination Management Organisation we have produced a series of literature promoting local food and taste experiences in the Cotswolds, these include:- Short Breaks Guide;
- Shopping Guide;
- Eating Out Guide.
Advertising opportunities exist within this guide to help businesses target potential visitors to the Cotswolds and to their establishments.
We also produce cycling and walking guides for the borough; information point boards; and a series of leaflets on our market towns.
