In addition to Tourism Skills Network activities there is also a range of other projects offering funding support for training and development for hospitality and tourism businesses. These projects are managed by different organisations, with funding received from a variety of bodies - see below.

Womens Business Start Up Course

What is on offer: The course covers all of the following:* Reasons for choosing self-employment *The qualities and skills necessary *What goes into a business plan? * Marketing yourself, advertising and PR *What technology is right for you? *Legal and insurance considerations *Maintaining personal motivation *Managing paperwork, your finances and book-keeping
Qualifying Criteria
- Women living in the Cotswolds District
- Women planing to run their business in the Cotswolds District.

Market for Learning

What’s on Offer The project supports employees and people on voluntary work placement who live or work in one of the 7 Market town areas to achieve 2 NVQ units at level 2 or 3 (or equivalent qualifications).

The 7 Market Town areas of Gloucestershire:
Dursley and the parishes of Cam, Coaley, Slimbridge, Stinchcombe Nympsfield, Uley and Owlpen. .
Stroud, and the parishes of Thrupp, Cainscross, Whiteshill and Ruscombe, Randwick and Rodborough.
