Chef Demonstrations in Schools - 2007 / 2008

The Tourism Skills Network has secured funding from the Savoy Educational Trust to deliver more chef demonstrations in schools.

The Chefs4Schools initiative aims to train up local chefs to deliver these demonstrations from September 07 onwards.

The demonstrations are being offered at NO CHARGE to schools (normal cost would be £150). Please note that there is a £50 cancellation charge for cancellations made less than one week prior to the agreed date for the demonstration.

Teacher Placement Programme

Why undertake a teacher placement?
- Faced with teaching vocational courses for the first time?
- Little or no industry experience?
- Need up-dating on new industry initiatives?

Undertaking a work placement will help you to:
-Gain first-hand knowledge of hospitality and tourism operations
-Up-date on new initiatives
-Develop vital links with the industry to enhance opportunities for student future visits, the development of resource material etc.
